and then I saw what it would cost...

I wanted to put my site up for consideration in the Webby Awards for websites...

Judging Criteria:
Honorees are selected for recognition based on excellence in the following criteria:

Websites & Mobile:
Content, Structure and Navigation, Visual Design, Functionality, Interactivity and Overall Experience

and then I saw what it would cost. 300 bucks. Oh well.  Sigh.

The Webbys is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) — a 1,000+ member judging body that includes Executive Members comprised of leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities, and Associate Members who are former Webby Award Winners and Nominees and other Internet professionals.

The Academy is an intellectually diverse organization that includes members such as actor Kevin Spacey, musician David Bowie, Internet Co-inventor Vint Cerf, Arianna Huffington, President and Editor-in-Chief of Huffington Post Media Group, Twitter Co-founder Biz Stone, Chairman and Founder of R/GA Bob Greenberg, Co-Founder of Instagram Kevin Systrom, Anselmo RamosOgilvy Brazil , Mozilla CEO and Chair Mitchell Baker, Tumblr Founder David Karp, and Roy L. Furman Professor of Law and Leadership at Harvard Law School, Lawrence Lessig.

    1. thank you! You just made my day! I still would love to see if it stacks up against the best in a review by such a collective judging panel... maybe someday. I'll have to get a better paying job (have less time to post) and then when that's gotten the credit card paid down (years from now) hope I'm still putting content you guys like up on the site. Before Alzheimers sets in with a vengeance.
