A zeppelin engine pod photo, I've never seen this before, quite remarkable

  1. I have seen them before but the photos, especially the second one, are still breathtaking. They engines were tended to constantly during flight. Engineers did two hour shifts in these nacelles (as the pods were known), in conditions ranging from tropical to arctic, and with a V16 diesel for company.
